Richard Augustyn is the founder and CEO of Extensis Group and has led the company’s rapid growth since its inception.

Under his leadership, Extensis has consistently been one of America’s fastest growing and most innovative PEOs, driven by a passion to simplify HR for small and mid-sized businesses. His early business success landed him a spot among the Forty Under 40, a program that honors young men and woman who have made outstanding contributions to their fields.

Rich is also an accomplished investor, backing talented entrepreneurs who are strong leaders and creative thinkers to help them achieve exceptional results. He currently serves on the boards of several U.S. and Canadian high-growth business service companies.

Dan Sheridan’s career spans leadership roles in sales, management and marketing, including sales force management, training, client satisfaction and retention, and managing top and bottom lines. Applying that expertise to Extensis Group’s aggressive growth objectives, Dan Sheridan spearheads the firm’s ongoing efforts to create an industry best sales organization and insurance broker sales channel.

In his previous role as the company’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, Dan focused on media relations and industry growth, as well as promoting the advantages and opportunities PEOs bring to small businesses in the Northeast. As president and CRO, he is also a member of the Extensis Group Management Committee.

With more than a decade of high-profile, executive-level sales, operations and management experience, Dan has been published in Enterprise Magazine, a publication of the New Jersey Society of CPAs. As a subject matter expert on a range of small business matters, Dan has been interviewed by regional and national media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, The Star Ledger and NJBIZ. He has also been a guest on News 12 New Jersey’s “It’s Your Money” program, discussing HR outsourcing topics.

Dan received his BA in political science from Dickinson College.

As CFO and a member of the company’s Management Committee, Don Abernathy ensures that Extensis Group has risk processes and procedures in place to meet enterprise-wide business growth objectives.

Don has over 25 years of executive leadership experience in a diverse group of high-growth public companies. His deep experience in strategic planning and risk management disciplines add to the resources Extensis provides to its clients.

Before joining Extensis, Don served as chief financial officer of the digital direct marketing business at Rapp Collins Worldwide, a subsidiary of Omnicom Group, Inc., the world's largest advertising and public relations company. Prior to Omnicom, Don was president and CEO of Portable Cellular Communications, a subsidiary of publicly traded Nationwide Cellular Services.

Don graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a BBA in accounting and is a certified public accountant.

Anthony "T.J." Mignone

A seasoned technology executive and member of the Extensis Group Management Committee, T.J. Mignone has over two decades of experience in building and executing corporate IT roadmaps and a proven track record of delivering successful technology solutions.

Most recently, T.J. served as the chief IT strategist for Ulticom, a leading provider of software and technology solutions for telecommunications and signaling networks. In this role, he spearheaded unified global data analytics initiatives that improved decision-making and resulted in significant cost savings.

Prior to Ulticom, T.J. held senior IT executive roles with Marvel Entertainment, BraveLine Technologies, Housing Development Corporation and the New York City’s Mayor’s Office.

He holds an MS in management of technology from New York University’s Polytechnic Institute, and a BS in criminal justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He also attended Columbia University’s executive management program.

Greg Tupe brings 25+ of business and financial acumen years to his role as Senior Vice President of Operations and member of the Management Committee.
Prior to joining Extensis, Greg served as chief financial officer for the NIP Group Inc. — one of the largest specialty insurance brokers in the U.S. At NIP, he was a driving force behind the company’s dynamic growth and its emergence in the top ranks of the brokerage industry.

Greg co-led the development of an alternative insurance facility to bring new underwriting capacity to stabilize two large business groups. These risk-bearing vehicles, co-developed by Greg, are now recognized as the industry’s best practice models. Prior to his role at NIP, Greg served as the CFO of Montblanc International and a senior executive at Zale Corporation. Earlier in his career, he held management positions at Deloitte & Touche USA.

Greg graduated from Pace University with a BBA in accounting and is a certified public accountant.

Jean provides strategic direction for all of the Extensis Group’s marketing functions. She is a creative and results-oriented senior leader with a 20+ year proven track record in driving brand recognition in both small businesses and Fortune 500 accounts. She enjoys championing the intersection between marketing, technology, sales and B2B / B2C customer needs.

Previously, Jean led the marketing organizations for Prudential Group Insurance and Merrill Lynch Asset Management. She has executed marketing strategies and campaigns to increase lead generation, acquire new business, promote consultative services and communicate value propositions. Jean was instrumental in building marketing communications and guiding the sales organization in fostering top-tier relationships in the independent insurance broker referral channel. She also created client-specific communications that increased revenue 32% for 100 key accounts including Silicon Valley technology leaders, major retailers, global financial services firms, and professional services organizations.

Jean spearheaded the implementation of Salesforce and Aprimo (a marketing workflow tool) to improve productivity and quality. Her efforts resulted in a 98+% client satisfaction rating for 6 consecutive years. She holds a BS in Marketing and an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and volunteers with animal rescue groups.
