  What is a PEO?

Why would an employee want a PEO as an employer?

Workers want financial security, quality health insurance, a safe working environment and opportunities for retirement savings.

Extensis provides Fortune 500 quality benefits including, health insurance and 401(k) plans.

Job security is improved as the PEOs’ economy of scale permits a business to better manage their overall employment costs.

Job satisfaction and productivity increase when workers are provided quality human resource services like quality benefits, employee handbooks, professional HR staff and clearer communications materials.

How does Extensis get employees better benefits?

Through economies of scale. Because we buy plans from the best benefit companies with the buying power of a larger business, we can do so at reduced rates and offer you benefits typically found at larger corporations.

Does Extensis work with union worksites?

Extensis works well in union and non-union worksites. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) recognizes that in co-employment relationships, worksite employees are appropriately included in the client employer’s collective bargaining unit. Where a collective bargaining agreement exists, PEOs fully abide by the agreement’s terms.

Don’t employees get confused about who is their employer?

Not at all. Not only are they excited about the better benefits, but we will personally explain to them how Extensis works. Their day to day functions do not change.
